Lavender & Lemon receives ESGmark® certification

As a purpose-driven start-up, Lavender & Lemon is founded on the principles of sustainability and collective action, so I am delighted to share that Lavender & Lemon has been awarded the prestigious ESGmark® certification - a symbol of trust and distinction for people and organisations who care about the planet and society, and a community I am thrilled to be a part of.

Through the rigorous assessment process, Lavender & Lemon demonstrated a high level of performance against Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and an ongoing commitment to positive change.

What is ESGmark® certification?

ESG is an increasingly important topic and stands for Environmental, Social and Governance.

In 2015, the United Nations published the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This 15-year plan aims to galvanise urgent action to improve the lives of global citizens and safeguard our planet. ESG principles help organisations contribute to achieving the UN’s goals, promoting the idea that business can and should be a force for good.

The ESGmark® certification is an important and increasingly recognised way for organisations to communicate their responsible approach to business with credibility. ESGmark® members are at the forefront of the business world’s move to a more responsible way of operating with respect to the planet and society. You can find more information at www.esgmark.co.uk.

I am very much looking forward to being a part of the ESGmark® community and growing Lavender & Lemon.
